The combination of fresh construction (no established territorial colonies yet) and desert adjacency (abundant wild population nearby) makes Enterprise's newest communities particularly susceptible to initial colonization events. An Africanized swarm that moves into a new wall cavity in spring can be a significant colony by summer.
